Craig Arnold was an American poet and professor. His first book of poems, Shells (1999), was selected by W. S. Merwin for the Yale Series of Younger Poets. His many honors include the 2005 Joseph Brodsky Rome Prize Fellowship in literature, The Amy Lowell Poetry Traveling Fellowship, an Alfred Hodder Fellowship, a Fulbright Fellowship, an NEA fellowship, and a MacDowell Fellowship. Craig Arnold was born in Wyoming, United States, on November 16, 1967. Craig is currently fifty six years old. He studied at Yale University and at the University of Utah and subsequently taught literature at the University of Wyoming. He is most famous for being a poet. He disappeared in 2009 while hiking near a Japanese volcano.
